Be it cold weather, the pandemonium of consumer culture at its zenith (Christmas), much shorter days, or extremely cold weather, somehow I managed to set everything aside and make time for me and my camera(s).
Processing Color Negative Film at Home
It wasn’t until 2015 until I actually started shooting film. I was hooked immediately and quickly learned how costly it can be doing something you’re passionate about. As with any passion, I learned different ways to make my craft more affordable and manageable for my life; developing color negative films (along with B&W and E6) in my kitchen has been a catalyst for my analog photography.
RIP Canon Elan II
Farewell, dearest Elan II. You served me for twelve wonderful months and we became very close friends. You let me regain my trust in Canon EF lenses, automatically loaded my films for me and let me fire as many exposures on the same frame as I damn-well pleased.
Unfortunately, those days are now over.
